I find that blogging for me is much like keeping a diary. When I was young, I would purchase a beautiful new journal, usually bound in a country fabric with a wee bit of cushioning. The binding would crack as I opened it. I would pick from a plethora of writing utensils in order for the ink to be the exact shade to darken the page. And then I would pour out my heart....for about three days. And then the spasm was over and the journals would join it's comrades on my bookshelf.
About once a year, I start a new blog. I love the idea of creating the template and choosing the fonts. I crave the view of the first post - so pristine and uncomplicated. And then life hits and I forget my password or even the address. I have even been known to forget the name of the blog. My husband would not be surprised.
Both my girls are entering 3rd grade this year and I feel the need to chronicle their life stages. They are quite funny and keep me either laughing or crying. They are not twins, but homeschooling allows me to tailor their education to their needs and abilities. So my 7-year-old is entering 3rd grade with her older sister.
I love my life...and at times I am thoroughly frustrated with my life. But God is good, all the time and knows just what I need. He is sovereign.
